trying not to get to excited and tired out! Eeek, I'm starting to get nervous now, as there are still a few things to do: hair and flowers and rings. Yesterday it was 7 weeks away to the big I do! And 7 weeks away today we'll have just left the house and on our way to our honeymoon in One Devonshire Gardens. People should have received their fab pamphlet, very Dr Who, except Jenni and Dan but it's in the post on Monday. Our wedding list goes live from 20th October from John Lewis: 270153, so that should be quite fun. Cheques are starting to arrive due to the royal mail strike, but the deadline is middle of November so that should all be fine. We're going down to the house in the next few weeks to see hair people, florist and the house again and see the cottages because I might be changing the cottages round again depending on what it looks like! I've got another dress fitting at the end of month, very excited as it looks amazing. We need to organise rings still, buy the booze and do a food tasting. We are actually going away for a few days to Whitby so I can take photographs of Goths. I need to buy some new pyjamas too. One my dress is ready to take home I'm going to invite the wonderful ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) katlinel round for tea and trying on our dresses on together! On the Friday night now we're having veggie lasagne now being made for us by our caters, hooray! The Danish pastries seem fine. My Shoes and boots are being dyed and life is good! Great News: yay! I have a day off: I've had some great news over the last couple of Days, while at Redemption I got a phone call from Nina (my sister) who told me that she is pregnant and due in August! So my parents will be grandparents for the first time. Then my dad went to the hospital today from his prostate cancer check that he doesn't need to return because the PSA count hasn't changed for a good few years! He'll only have to do yearly check ups with his doctor and not have to go to hospital anymore. Yippee! Also we've decided to do our honeymoon in Scotland and then go away the following summer to New York and then to Alanta. (Guess what we'll be doing?) Ahhh, very excited. Also I was chatting to my lovely work buddy who works on a different floor and we both realised that he is into sci-fi ahhh, I told him all about Redemption and then Easter Con. We might offer our services to the brilliant panel planner Steve R about A Heros Panel or we might have our own panel in the bar! I should really do my con report! Monsoon- clothes - big wheel and 2007!
I'm having a half day because of we get them when we're rota'd in to do Saturdays. So I met Iain in town where I treated him to a ride on the big wheel on princes street. It was great, the sky way really clear so the views where excellent, but it was windy and cold up there.
I then went into Monsoon where I bought 3 dresses. Horrah - size 18! In the Sale. Which has got me all excited about 2007. My plan is to loose another 11 pounds by redemption which is 7 weeks away. I want to be at my target weight for trying on wedding dresses in July. Then I've got to learn how to maintain it. The most amazing thing is I loosing weight from all over and I can feel it even in my fingers!
Jan - April is going to be the fitness madness time because I'm going to the gym, doing pilates and dancing with pals and I'm standing for election again. My ward is a superward which has lots of flats and tenements and some tower blocks.
I am very excited about 2007. First there is Redemption - best Sci-fi con in the world! I'm standing for election, job is flexible and fun: I like helping people pay their debts and I'm madly saving up for the wedding and then we're getting married! I'm also making some pop videos because I miss doing stuff with cameras so I thought I would do some pop videos with my pals and some other top secret projects. I'm also planning on having a girly (boys will be invited too!) weekend with a trip to a spa, One Spa has been highly recommended in Edinburgh and the Cow Shed too. |
